The automated email reports are programmed to send an active deal to you as soon as possible.

The status of a deal sent to your email is static - it doesn't change. Although it was active at the time it was emailed to you, when it is put on contract, the system will not send you another email since it is no longer an active property. Therefore, you can see discrepancies in status between the automated email and the MLS.

That said, the status on portal and the MLS will always be the same. When you receive an automated email you like, we recommend that you check the CMA and look at the deal on the portal, since it will always reflect the status on the MLS.
